Tickets went on sale Monday for what is known to be one of the sauciest food and wine events in the U.S.. The Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival is a "is a national, star-studded, four-day destination event showcasing the talents of the world's most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities."
This spectacular event will take place from February 19th – 22nd in the land of the beautiful, sunny South Beach, Florida. This annual gathering of food and wine lovers from across the map will have you up close and personal with culinary masters and personalities such as Eric Ripert, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Rachael Ray, Jose Andres, Martha Stewart, David Walzog,Tyler Florence, Guy Fieri, Kerry Heffernan, Nobu Matsuhisa, Marcus Samuelsson and many others.
Festival highlights include a Burger Bash hosted by Rachael Ray, a Perrier-Jouet Bubble Q hosted by Tom Colicchio, the ever popular Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village, and the Dolce Brunch presented by Tiffany & Co. Hosted by Katie Lee Joel. The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival caters events to all different tastes and palates ranging from daytime fun, family friendly, wine exclusive, and the fabulous late night bashes which go in to the wee hours.
Although the 2009 SOBE Wine & Food Festival takes place in approximately four months time, tickets sell out super fast and foodies in the know, are keen on the fact that this is one event not to be missed. So mark your calendars, and look forward to something good and tasty coming around in 2009.

this is by far my favorite food event in the states. i went to the one they had in new york recently, but still south beach was by far way better.
